So you are on the lookout for investment and someone has pointed out that a Stock Market Investment is the best option? Investment in Stocks is fine as an idea, but it's a totally different cup of tea from other investments, where you just go out with some cash under your belt and buy stuff off the counter as in the case of gold; or bargain across mediators for discounts as I the case of real estate. Even in a plain bank deposit, we now take a look around to see which bank offers the best rates. Investment in Stocks, but cannot bloom or hope to give excellent or even fair returns unless there is an element of practice or a word of expertise involved.

To be sure Stock Investment is not rocket science. But it's almost an art and more than a science where observing the market, keeping the trends in mind and making informed calculations go into what is called a lesson in How to Invest in Stocks. There are certain basic facts to be kept in mind while you consider stock market investment as an option. The money has to come from your savings. Any sensible advisor who teaches How to Invest in Stocks will tell you that you need a job that pays you a monthly amount and also some emergency money stashed away, preferably equivalent to a year's living expenses, before you open your purse to stock market investment.

An institutional day trader is a trader who works for a financial institution. This type of trader has certain advantages over retail traders as he/she generally has access to more resources, tools, equipment, large amounts of capital and leverage, large availability of fresh fund inflows to trade continuously on the markets, dedicated and direct lines to data centers and exchanges, expensive and high-end trading and analytical software, support teams to help, and more. All these advantages give them certain edges over retail day traders.
