RE: Time of Swim Workout
Practices are generally 1.5 - 3 hours a day, plus morning practices if you do them.

RE: Time of Swim Workout
I usually swim about 45 minutes - 1 hour but am limited to the type of work out that I can accomplish. I swim at the local YMCA about 4-5 X a week and do it for routine exercise, as I do not belong to any master's team or participate in any competitions.

The YMCA only has 3 lap lanes and the seniors do not follow the rules, so there are many individuals that are using arm floats, or walk the length of the pool, but use the lap lanes rather than the water aerobics side. This makes it challenging to swim, as you have to go around them, or slow down, as you do not want to injure them.

I guess I'll increase my workout time to 1.5 hours each time.
