Hello
Big Smile

I'm Brandon. I was on the swim team at my small high school, and now am teaching my 5 yr. old how to swim. She loves the water and is really good at floating and the backstroke, but I'm having difficulty getting her to swim with her face under water.

I work for an above ground pool wholesaler (Arthurs Pools)and one of my favorite movies is Gattaca.

RE: Hello
Hi Brandon,

I'm kinda new here but I'll toss you a welcome fwiw LOL.

I'm far from a swim instructor, but I remember my coach teaching me breathing when I was a kid by having me put my face in the water (shallow end while standing) and doing an inhale/exhale exercise. Face turned to the side, inhale, face down, exhale thru the nose. Dunno if this will help you but may be worth a try.

Tim
