Shave off ?
Hi guys, I need an advice. It probably sounds very stupid but does shaving off the uncovered body parts affect ur performance ? I mean how much a hairy man is going to benefit if he spends some time with the razor in the bathroom ? In my country only people that shave their bodies are homosexuals and football players. lol.
Will I reduce ressistance and increace efficiency ? Big Smile

RE: Shave off ?
I don't know how much timing you can shave off but it doesn't seem like its worth it unless you're swimming competitively.

RE: Shave off ?
well i had like a year off swimming because of circumstances, but now i hope i will be returning with like 2 main goals: setting a national record for my age and getting in the national team.So yes, I am swimming competitively but if it is for less than a second on 200m it will be useless.i think.

RE: Shave off ?
Generally, you don't want to go for a shave unless it's a high-magnitude meet - provincials, nationals, etc. Setting a national record is huge, when the time comes, you'll definitely want to shave. Less than a second off, no matter the event, is also huge. Especially when it comes to record setting, every little bit helps.
