After doing some 2011 swimming research, I stumbled across the Australian 2011 FINA World Championship Athlete Selection Criteria. The three page document usually outlines team commitments, performance requirements (finish top 2 etc), team size, relays and qualifying times for the World Championships. As I was reading I noticed something new, something I had never seen before. I noticed that Swimming Australia has decided to stage an additional relay selection swim meet - to select the 6th swimmer for the 4x100m and 4x200m free relays, to be held on 29th June, 2011. Normally, top 6 swimmers in 100m and 200m free at Trials are automatically selected for relays. In 2011, top 5 will be selected at Trials and with the additional relay meet to pick the 6th and final relay swimmer only, it may possibly allow Trickett to gain selection to compete at Worlds. What do you think?

I don't think she's eligible then yet...still gotta be back in the drug testing pool for 9 months or whatever.

Her nine months will be up by then. It was officially published in a leading newspaper, The Australian last week. She can only swim in relay events. I gather she will swim 4x100m Free and Medley relays. Her 200m days are long gone.
