I only prefer to take light supplements because it can sometimes make you addicted to these supplements. It mayy harm your body as well & your swimming ability too.

I don't understand why you all are afraid of supplements. No matter how healthy your diet is, you're not going to get all the nutrients, vitamins, minerals, etc. that you need unless you eat pretty much all day or take supplements.

Supplements are not supposed to take place of a good diet. If you eat poorly and take supplements you're not helping your body in the least bit.

Define "all the nutrients, vitamins, minerals etc. that you need." Because, I've never taken a supplement, and I still feel fairly healthy, and my doctors tend to agree?

I have stopped taking supplements & you won't believe that my swimming skills have improved considerably. So I request you all to stop taking these supplements as it can harm your body structure.

RE: Do you use sport supplements?
Well for one thing supplements will never give you the same benefit out of the same nutrients that the whole food counterpart will give you; your body just won't process the processed stuff the same way that it will as a natural product. That aside, when I go into a heavy lifting phase I tend to supplement my protein intake with shakes because it is just plain difficult to reach 150+ grams of protein per day without supplementing.
