I started swimming when I was 11years old. First time I’m little bit afraid to water but now it is totally changed. It has become my hobby now.

I first started competitive swimming back in the Jurassic Era (just kidding), when I was about 11 or so. I swam age group through HS, then stopped for over 35 years...then just recently started swimming again to fight middle age related health issues.

I was 4 years old when I started taking swimming lessons. I remember my first teacher, She was awesome!

I first learned how to swim when I was 12. I loved it so much I began competitive swimming when I turned 13. I now have the school record for the 50 SCM backstroke for boys 13-14 of 29.89 Smile

I started swimming when I was 15 and now I'm 21, Now I have good experience in swimming and I can swim well in back-stroke style.

I started at three ....... And went right on through to board diver and water safety instructor. But!! My interests turned to the equestrian world which took me away from the water for many years!! Now living in Hawaii - I'm back into swimming - and snorkeling when time permits. The Y has just completed a new facility that has a huge Olympic pool, so now I'm swimming there as part of my exercise. What a great pool!!! BTW - I'll be 70 in July!!!
