Information Spam Bots
Spam bots have recently been targeting MyBB forums. I am working hard to prevent registrations, and luckily right now spam is limited to about 3 posts a day maximum.

If you see any spam posts, simply report them and don't respond.

RE: Spam Bots
A good idea would be to explain how to spot a spammer, some people might not be familiar with it.

I will try to report as many spammers as I can. Smile

RE: Spam Bots
Good idea.

Spammers will post unhelpful, usually random and irrelevant messages with links in them simply for the purpose of gaining backlinks.

RE: Spam Bots
Ok I will try to report them. Are they programs that do it or are they real people?

RE: Spam Bots
I'm not sure. They could be programs, but it is more likely that they are just people being payed to spam.
