Smile Greetings from Saskatoon
Hello everyone, I stumbled across this forum by accident and liked the atmosphere. I live in the middle of the Canadian prairies, thousands of kilometers from the nearest ocean but only 40 minutes drive to a salt water lake (mostly magnesium sulphate).
I'm 53, female, and like open water swimming. I've done two Swimtrek tours (Croatia and Gozo/Malta) and a handful of open water races where I managed to not come in dead last. Smile
I swim mostly on my own but do Sunday morning with the local triathlon club as it suits me better than the master's club workouts. One day I may cross over to the dark side and actually do a triathlon on my ancient road bike.
My husband is from the U.K. originally and we travel over every few years, so I hope to get tips on where to swim while there.
