I need help learning to tread water without my hands; I've tried an eggbeater kick but can't seem to get it… any advice?

RE: How to improve two swimming skill
Treading water without using any hands can be a little challenging. To work it out however, I would try a what I guess you call egg-beater kick. I like to consider it more like a jellyfish kind of kick - where your legs come out and snap together (similar to breaststroke).

This is the easiest way to stay afloat as it's partly relaxing, and a million times easier than flutter or dolphin kick.
